Ok, sounds like Lansing is the place to be!

I have questions though. We could go to East Lansing. There is a hotel right downtown within walking distance to about 8 bars. The only problem would be that there is a cover charge at each. The other issue may be that the bars are filled with college kids. Do us older people want that kind of atmosphere? The hotel may be expensive too. I'll have to check.

There are other options in Lansing. The party really didn't seem to get rolling until we were in a room (after many drinks). I think the bar was an icebreaker though.

Throw some ideas at me!

Hotel gets my vote.

I don't know if I can come yet. It's going to depend on when it is and if my situation here has evened itself out. But if I can, I will.

Gman, I added your link but now it won't show up. I swear it was there.

You need to accept your invitation.

I made it! Hotel sounds good. I'll need more info and it will come down to whether or not I can get time off.

Keep it affordable (says the man still unemployed). But the bar was a good ice-breaker, besides we all seemed to get there at different times.

Keep in mind the room was a more intimit location. I think just meeting someone for the first time the bar out in the public was probably a great idea.

I will try and do some poking around. My guess is we would be better off somewhere in Lansing. It should be cheaper all the way around. Besides, if we do want to go to East Lansing we can probably get a couple of cars heading that way. We would just need to be cool as they crack down on drinking and driving there. I could probably be a DD, more or less.

Sign, since I am on the west side I will look around here a bit first to see what is available.

Croaker, we have a place here called the Deluxe Inn that is probably cheap. Prostites, drugs, an occasional dead body, lots of visits by the police. Don't worry, that place is already crossed off the list.

Barman, the Deluxe Inn is just down the street from my house. After the last murder, the city vowed to tear it down.
