Here is a repost from last year's fun from my perspective.

I raced around Thursday and Friday in preparation for being out of town for the weekend on a dead run. My thoughts were on who was coming to the Michigan Blogger meeting. Would they be as I had envisioned them from reading their blogs? Would they recognize me? How much would I embarass myself?

After work I was jetting to Ann Arbor so I could catch happy hour in the bar at the hotel. The closer I got the more nervous I became. My thoughts went to, "Why are you on your way alone to meet people you have never met? What do you think you are going to get out of this meeting?"

Since I came from work, I was in my work clothes when I checked into the hotel. As I was checking in a man approached the desk and low and behold it was BTExpress. I tapped him on the shoulder and called out his name. I was greeted by a huge smile and a handshake. We made plans to freshen up and meet in the bar.

BTE and I talked for about an hour before Barman made his appearance. I knew him right away since he looks just like his profile picture. Cutie was next and I recognized her just as she noticed me.

Jon came sneaking around the corner and I'm ashamed to say, I didn't recognize him for a second. We were all laughing and starting to loosen up when a tall thin guy carrying a beer approached our table. I had absolutely no idea of who he was. He said, "You probably don't know me, but I'm Croaker. I had never read his blog but had seen his comments around. He was the most intriguing in my opinion since I didn't know anything about him. He also said he had seen my comments around at like every blog he's visited. He basically called me a blog whore which I guess I am.

No party would be complete without Roxi Moon. She brought her boyfriend Dan. He had driven non stop from Texas (I think he said 26 hours). He said Roxi had coaxed him into visiting promising a weekend at a hotel. She didn't mention the blog meeting until they got to the hotel, hehe. Let me just say that Roxi is even hotter in real life and is exactly who she is on her blog.

We hung out at the bar for a while and I kept mentioning to everyone that I had free Jello shots in my room. We all ended up there and things got pretty crazy. Jello shots were flying around the room (sorry about hitting you in the head Jon). I had at least four people in my king sized bed. I tried to convince them all to stay but no one took me up on it. I'll shut up now and give you some pictures.

I had 3 men in my room until after 3 am. Who would have ever guess that I'd be alone with 3 women and 4 men that I'd never met before in a hotel room? Let's just say that they all got to see cleavage from Cutie and I (especially BTE, he stood over us because he said he liked the view. Perv! I love it!)

I got about 2 hours of sleep. When I got up I found the infamous shirt of Osbasso, the HNT King left in my room. I decided to try to get some HNT pics with it. I left it at the front desk for Roxi. I hope she got it. In the post below I will post pictures with all of us wearing the shirt.

I will post tomorrow about my night Saturday on the party bus for the bar crawl.

Thank God I'm alive and I think everyone had fun.
